Hello Tracy, we found the assets for the camps, we have the catalog "programs" and we were missing the redirect, the data was there all the time. please take a look now and let us know if you think everything it is ok.

Ok, show them the progress, they like it. My notes:

-We should embed an iframe containing the link to the gallery, sin they are expecting once the Gallery is generated, they can approve or restrict some assets on the DAM and that will reflect immediatly in the gallery.
-They gonna depend on some one approbing the assets
-They may require different main image size, we can read it from the parametrs and render different image size.
-They may want or not a caption on each image, depending on the final user preference

-Once the embed code is ready they can start testing including.
-Told them early next week they should have something to test.

Pleasure speaking with you earlier today! As mentioned, there are a few features that I’d like to have added to the system if possible. There’s a chance that some of these options either already exist in our current system and I might not realize I have access to them, or that these are already going to be available in the updated system. If so please let me know.


Requested features:

Sorting/Search Filters
Ability to exclude something from search results. Examples:
Exclude photos/media with “example” Keyword

Record multi-edit executions in the Asset Edits reporting
This request was previously made and my understanding is that it’s already going to be in the next update, but I’m listing it just in case
Ability to view who added specific tags/people shown/etc in a photo’s

Currently if I click on Asset History, Edits History doesn’t show anything.
B ut when I check its Edits History, there are no record of any edits:
recorded in Asset Edits, but it seems to be the same even for photos that were individually edited.

Image View Tracking
Asset History has a Views tab, but it seems to not always record when an image has been viewed. Sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn’t.

AI Features
Really love the facial recognition feature you showed today! I’m hoping it might be possible (or is already in the pipeline) to expand AI recognition to suggest possible Keywords for photos. In my stock photo accounts, when I upload images the system will suggest keywords to apply to the image.

In this example, the Keyword Suggestions are AI generated and I can add them if I feel they’re appropriate.

If this is possible, I think it’d be a HUGE feature as our employees are often unsure of what to tag or might forget to add a tag on a given photo. Having tag suggestions would go a long way to getting people not just to tag more accurately and efficiently, but more often as well.

I’m sure we’ll think of things as time goes on, but if these could be added (especially the Keyword Suggestions) that’d be wonderful, thanks!

Hi Christopher. Here are the instructions that they were using last year for the parent portal. Yes it did ask for First Name and Last name when a parent used the link. Please note, that I just tried to go through this process to see if the photos were still there, and it seems the camp configuration from last summer is not there and neither are the photos? I’m wondering if the switch between A and B site impacted this portal?

Hi Christopher. As I mentioned, we need to schedule a show-and-tell of the new EnterMedia for AGBU. As you can see below from Ani, their biggest need is the public-facing GALLERIES of which they need an elegant solution. To recap what Ani has written below:

1. AGBU needs a parent portal for camp photos - We rolled this out last year
2. AGBU Needs public facing galleries, no authentication. This is what we discussed using Oembed for. Is there any way we can demonstrate what this could potentially look like for AGBU?
3. We need to show them the new UI so that they understand what is changing for them

I don't know if we can demonstrate #2 by next week, but we could talk through it. We have to escalate getting this Oembed work done. Please let me know what times you have available next week to meet with AGBU and show the new system.

Hello. I need to clearly prepare the client for how this upgrade will impact their day-to-day work. As we discussed, we cannot just rollout a completely different interface for them, they need their day-to-day functions to appear the same. It was my understanding from our last meeting that you would show us how the new interface could appear like their current interface (with the collections/folders on the landing page, etc.)
So if you can please outline a plan for us, we can prepare the client and then let you know when to proceed.

Thank you for sharing. The new interface looks nice and we are excited to see it in action! Before rolling out eMediaLibrary 11, I believe you still need to do an upgrade for AGBU for all of the other things we’ve discussed, including the restored assets?

For AGBU, one of their biggest concerns/requests is a sleek ‘externally’ facing asset gallery. Similar to what was done for the Camp Parent Portal, they have a continuous need to produce photo galleries (from their events, programs, etc.) and those galleries sometimes will be publicly accessible (no login) or will need simple authentication. They want to be able to include links to these galleries on their website, and have those galleries showcase images that are stored in EnterMedia, so that they do not need to upload the same assets into another system.

Obviously, we know that the images for a gallery can be organized into a separate collection within EnterMedia. That was never the issue. The issue is what this gallery will look like to the visitors.

Treat them in a similar way we did with Babson

So we need to convince AGBU to upgrade to eMediaLibrary. Perhaps with a nice brochure custom made for them. I think the only feature they are missing is the side filters we are adding soon. Can you guide this along? That means we will need to make a proposal to Tracy on how to migrate them like we did Babson.

Dieneke, we need to talk to Tracy about upgrading her. The version they have does not support multi-edit logging. Our new eMediaLibrary version does but they will need to use the new UI.

Another batch of assets have been uploaded into the Recovery folder. We are waiting for one more set of assets to be uploaded, I will email you when complet -> message of tracy
